Ivory and unidentified bone — Bone without a specific speciesSpotted from the listing text
The vintage inro and matching netsuke are sold as “Bone artwork,” but no source species is identified. The close photos show an aged carved animal material rather than an identified permitted species.
Clue in the text: "Chinoiserie Bone artwork" identifies it as animal bone but gives no source species; the vintage cream-colored elephant-carved inro/netsuke wording adds reason to suspect potentially prohibited ivory or other restricted animal material.
